bonfire, prom, jon's b-day...
Steph put on some great songs... but they are making me wanna cry... i'm so sappy, haha... this is lame, now i wanna go to prom really bad................... *sigh*
so here's the thought, lemme know what you think...
*Jon's coming down May 25th, 5 days after his birthday and prom... i had been entertaining the idea of throwing a surprise party for him... but steph had a brilliant idea: we should all get together (well, those who can, who are actually here...haha) and go to port SLO for a bonfire in celebration of jon's b-day AND prom for those of us who missed it... mostly just having fun with friends cuz we can... i really wanna be able to do something like that, doesn't that sound like a blast? we would get dressed up in cute dresses, maybe even fancy dresses... guys will wear watever they wear... we'll figure out how to get music to play there, and of course Jon will have his guitar so he can serenade us with some Dashboard, accompanied by David Landon =) mmm, that makes me smile. ok, whatta ya think? we can so pull it off =D we just have to be more organized than we've ever been in our whole lives!

hmm... prom... why do i think about this so much? haha!
someone asked me if i was going to prom today... it wasn't like a "hey! come to prom with me!!" it was like a "hey, are ya going to prom?" and he obviously hoped that i was... i told him no... he told me that he thought it would be fun and to let him know if i changed my mind...
well, now i'm telling YOU that i'll let you know if i change my mind... its possible, but not likely the way those tickets are getting steadily more expensive! =S haha... ah... decisions decisions...

what i wanna know is whatever the crap happened to the old fashioned days where the guy asked the girl weeeell in advance so she had time to get her dress and he pays for her ticket and crap like that?!?! what's with all the single tickets being sold these days!!!
sorry...just veting... atleast i'm not bottling it up... of course i'm venting to a computer screen... is that just as healthy??? the frustration is coming out through my fingers... not my vocal cords... wutev!

*lol* Ash! I know what you mean. *hugs* Unfortunately, i think "the good ol' days" are way, way over... but I promise to do my best to raise my son to be a gentleman like the good ol' days! I will try to teach him to respect girls, open doors for them, buy their tickets to dances and especailly prom and to give them lots of notice! haha...
I know Keegie is too young for you, but maybe your offspring, will be able to take advantage of it? hehe
A bon fire sounds really fun! I was going to suggest an alternative thing to prom that was less expensive but still a time you could have fun with your friends.... but it looks like you came up with the idea yourself! I think it's a great idea... glad I thought of it. (;
